Ted has extensive commercial and operational experience in Central & South America, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. He also holds a BA (Hons) in African Studies and has extensive experience in refugee placement. After his military career he worked for a Kidnap & Ransom Underwriter specialising in Colombia, Venezuela and Haiti, before moving to London as a Lloyd’s insurance broker. On leaving the insurance industry he ran a medical evacuation operation based in the Middle East prior to launching Northcott.

At University Richard achieved a BEng Honours in Civil Engineering and Construction Management, after completing his degree he joined the army and completed a Short Service Commission, including an Operational Tour in Iraq. Subsequent to his military career Richard became a Political Risk & Terrorism Broker for Willis Ltd, concentrating on Banking, Energy and Corporate clients. He has a thorough corporate knowledge as well as operational experience of both the Middle East and the global Insurance market.

Chief Operations Officer – Marcus Elliot-Square, MCGI, FCMI

Marcus completed 17 years in the Grenadier Guards including operational tours of Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan. His career included heading numerous crisis planning taskings and ended with 3 years coordinating the extremely sensitive process by which UK casualties were repatriated from operational theatres around the world, including the front line in Afghanistan.

Debra has over 25 years of experience in emergency management, operations and business development, specialising in the gas/oil/mining and utilities sectors. Over the past 7 years Debra has pioneered global safe travel and real-time GPRS/GSM/Satellite tracking products and services. This development has included industry leading web based itinerary / real time tracking portals. Debra is media, relative response and radio trained and has implemented global safe travel programmes and training into FTSE 100 companies.

Account Manager - Elizabeth Johns, MSc, BSc

Lizzie Johns achieved a high first in Economics (BA) at University of the West of England. After this she progressed onto Bath University where she gained a Masters (MSc) in Development Economics (MSc) deepening her understanding of the political and economic dynamics of developing countries, worldwide. Since obtaining these qualifications, Lizzie has undertaken professional work including employment at McKenzie Intelligence Services and experience at the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization based in Rome.

O'H has a wealth of experience in the command, control and running of a broad spectrum of military operations in both peacetime and war during a full military career. At NGS he has re-defined the strategy for best practice / fully integrated emergency management plans that focus on client protocols and match a company's ethos, international relations, appetite for risk, (both corporate and operational) whilst still remaining within acceptable corporate liabilities.

Senior Medical Coordinator - Mark Sanders-Crook

After a full career as a senior field medic in the Royal Army Medical Corp, Mark held a position as a Yeoman Warder at the Tower of London. He has extensive field medical experience and holds high-level civilian qualifications in Mountain Rescue, Training & Development, Disaster Relief Control (DROC), Coping with Rape and Sexual Abuse, Environmental Health and as a Chemical, Biological Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) advisor to government agencies. He also highly experienced in establishing remote medical facilities and remote infrastructure in harsh and remote environments.

Operations Manager - Darren Wells MBE

Darren has extensive experience of running numerous high level operations rooms including the Firefighters emergency center in the UK. During his 23 year military career he was responsible for the safe and speedy repatriation of hundreds of casualties through RAF Brize Norton in the UK from all over the world. He also has many years experience of planning and carrying out projects under extreme conditions.

Senior Medical Consultant – Major General Alan Hawley CBE

Alan is the Former Commander of the Royal Army Medical Corps and now a Professor of Disaster Management at Glamorgan University and Honorary Physician to HM Queen Elizabeth II. He has over three decades of experience in setting up and operating remote medical facilities around all over the world.

Consultant - Brigadier (Rtd.) Tresham Gregg CBE - Middle East, Indian sub-continent & SE Asia

Tresham has had wide experience on operations and in crisis and change management during a full career in the military, which also included 4 years in the Middle East. In the MOD he was the military staff focus for the Middle East, Indian sub continent and SE Asia and maintained close links with the FCO and DFID during emergencies in those areas. He was the senior British military advisor to Kofi Annan, the UN's Special Representative, in the Primary Joint Headquarters in the Balkans, and briefed him on a daily basis. He also ran the UN Operations Room comprising 17 different nationalities, which involved frequent liaison with National Representatives, UNHQ in New York and NGOs when developing operational plans.

Americas Office - Derek Lamb

Derek has more than two decades of executive leadership and international business experience including, business development, communications, strategy, risk management, project management, social and economic development, debt and equity experience in the capital markets combined with environmental, health safety, crisis management, emergency response and business continuity planning.

He has extensive experience in Central and Latin America and has been involved in multiple crisis management incidents including kidnap and ransom. In addition, Derek was Global Security Manager of Business Resilience and Recovery for one of the world’s largest extraction companies. He has developed risk based security programs covering over 70,000 employees, billions of dollars of assets in 40 countries and six continents.
